We were appointed in 2020 to deliver The RAID. A new exhibition at the National Museum of Denmark of one of the greatest collections of Viking age objects. The exhibition provides visitors with a unique experience of the Vikings through expertly curated research and evocative displays.
‘The Raid’ unites one-of-a-kind historical objects with a narrative informed by most recent research into the Viking Age. The researchbased content and the ambitious timeframe for delivery required flexible solutions. By engaging contractors early, we adapted to evolving requirements, including developing an additional projection ‘skin’ to achieve the fluid, wave-like visuals central to the design concept.

Delivering the project during the Covid-19 pandemic added extra challenges. We met them by adapting our communications to meet client needs. As happened so much at the time, the design and development took place remotely. We used a trusted local supply chain and handpicked a global team of contractors to streamline the delivery phase. Our flexible approach enabled us to deliver on time and to budget without compromising on quality.
