Science Centre Singapore is a visionary institution. This is no small statement.
Singapore punches far above its weight when it comes to innovation, scientific advancements and incredible cultural experiences. The Science Centre Singapore, conceived around the same time as the young nation, is symbolic of the country's pioneering status in the world.
So, when we began working on the New Science Centre Singapore's visitor experience masterplan, we knew that it was much more than a simple relocation exercise.
It was, in effect, a roadmap to help shape and steer Singapore's reputation for the next 50+ years.
Working in close collaboration with the Science Centre team, we helped devise and define the visitor experience across the internal exhibition and commercial spaces as well as the external activity spaces. The new Science Centre will feature a network of discovery trails through the buildings and a sensory trail up onto the roof garden. The exhibition spaces will feature creative storytelling and innovative technology to create immersive learning experiences.

The New Science Centre Singapore will relocate to a newly-built, state-of-the-art building designed by Zaha Hadid Architects with Architects 61. The building will be the flagship of the reimagined, much-anticipated Jurong Lake Gardens tourist district.
The new Science Centre Singapore will open in 2027 - aligning with the Singapore Green Plan 2030 and marking the 50th anniversary of the Science Centre.
