Hands-on science

The Bell Museum collections number more than four million specimens. We were exhibit contractor, responsible for the design and construction of caseworks, graphics, structures, lighting, AV, hardware and many scenic elements, as well as mounting over 400 objects. Many of the mechanical interactives, all conceived by our expert team, were “real science” interactives, where visitors deal hands-on with scientific concepts rather than seeing them explained.

Bringing historic dioramas to life

Impressive models of a woolly mammoth and a giant beaver stand before a towering glacier. Four large-scale planetary models suspended overhead transport visitors into space. Eleven huge dioramas - historical artefacts and works of art in their own right - were relocated from the old museum. Their glass enclosures were designed by our expert team to be anti-reflective and fire-rated, as well as to allow necessary access. Our custom lighting creates subtle movement and brings the scenes to life.
